Boil water alert issued for Hazlehurst | Home & Garden

The Mississippi State Department of Health has issued a boil water alert for customers who receive water from the Town of Hazlehurst water supply.

This affects 4,500 customers in the area.

Health officials say all water should be boiled vigorously for one minute before it's consumed. The precaution will last at least two days, according to the MSDH.
