Vehicle crash kills one in Copiah County | News
A Georgetown man was killed in a single-vehicle accident just before noon Friday.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, 71-year-old John A. Lack was driving on Highway 28 about two miles west of Georgetown in Copiah County when his truck went off the road.
Lack's vehicle hit a tree, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The highway patrol says Lack was not wearing a seatbelt and the vehicle's airbags did deploy.
