Woman's body found in Hazlehurst motel room | News

HAZLEHURST, MS (WLBT)- Motel housekeeping made a horrifying discovery inside a room in Copiah county Saturday morning.

A woman's body was found at the Hill Top Motel on Highway 51 in Hazlehurst.

Copiah County Coroner Ellis Stuart identified the victim as 32 year old Kayti Lynn Dillon of Hazlehurst.

Dillon was pronounced dead around 10:30 Saturday morning.

She had been staying in the room for a few days.

Coroner Stuart estimated that she may have been murdered sometime Friday night.

He would not say how she was killed.

An autopsy has been scheduled.

The Copiah County Sheriff's Department has not returned our calls requesting information about the investigation.
